A woman was arraigned in a Nakuru court for giving wrong information to a commissioner of oaths regarding a title deed.

Hannah Wangare, was accused of swearing falsely to an advocate, Samson Matoke upon a matter of public concern that she had lost a title deed, the national identity card and the death certificate of the late Ayub Kimwaki on January 30, 2014 at Gate house in Nakuru town.

Wangare faced another count of giving a false statement to the district registrar of births and deaths one J.O. Omboko, by knowingly and with intent falsely presenting a sworn affidavit and she was issued with a death certificate of Ayub Kimwaki.

Appearing before Chief Magistrate Joel Ng'eno, Wangare pleaded innocent and was released on a bond of Sh100,000 with one surety and an alternative cash bail of Sh70,000.

The case will be heard on October 1.
