Two people were critically injured in a road accident at Katoloni near Machakos town along Machakos-Wote road on Feb 20.
Confirming the incident Machakos OCPD Adiel Nyange said that the accident involved a Landcruiser and a lorry which collided head on.
He said that the Landcruiser was overspeeding and was trying to overtake another vehicle when it collided with the lorry.
"The accident has involved a Landcruiser and a lorry leaving two people critically injured. The Landcruiser was overspeeding and rammed into the lorry.
Investigations will be carried out to know whether there could be other externals factor might have contributed to the occurrence of the accident," said Nyage.
Nyage urged drivers to be extra vigilant on roads while driving. The injured people were rushed to Machakos level five hospital.
