The Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) has partnered with the Nakuru County government to boost the agricultural sector.
Speaking after paying a coutersy visit to deputy governor Joseph Ruto on Thursday, ADC chief executive officer Andrew Tuimur noted that the move was aimed at harnessing the agricultural sector and boosting productivity.
He said that Nakuru was the among the richest agricultural areas in the region and needed a private-public partnership for full utilisation of the available resources for maximum yields.
"We want to join forces in the development of potato and livestock farming that are more prevalent here," he said.
Tuimur called for a good working relationship with the county government that will in turn translate into positive results from the farmers side.
