University graduates, students from colleges and other post secondary education middle level colleges who benefited from Bahati Constituency Development Fund (CDF) kitty will soon be linked directly to employers if the words by area CDF boss Antony Njui are anything to go by.
In a meeting in Lanet on Thursday with the young professionals, Njui noted that the move was arrived at after analysing the situation where many people miss out on opportunities because of getting to know of them late.
He expressed concern at the number of those who have gone to school but unemployed in the constituency, saying that it was their wish to have them get formal employment so that they can come back and give back to the society.
"This will also help us keep records of all graduates in the constituency to assist placing them in jobs should vacancies arise," he said.
Njui also called on learned youths to be good role models in the society and desist from engaging in crime and drug abuse.
The more than 100 young professionals vowed to lead by example and involve themselves in community projects aimed at making the society a better place.
