Reverend Mark Okoyo of Maseno AIC Chapel has urged leaders to stop pointing fingers and blaming each other for the clashes being experienced along the Kisumu-Nandi border.

The reverend said blame games will not solve the problem at the border, and urged leaders to join hands and help solve the ongoing dispute.

Speaking on Monday during a fundraiser at the local church in Maseno, Okoyo also urged the leaders to take responsibility and work together to find a lasting solution to the problem.

“This is not the time for pointing fingers at each other. There is a problem which has risen and it is our duty as leaders to solve it. That is what you were chosen to do. Pointing fingers will only increase tension between the two parties,” said Okoyo.
