Bodaboda operators from Kibera have been urged to follow the newly proposed rules employed by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) or face the law.

Speaking today morning at the bodaboda stage at Laini Saba, Geoffrey Kirera, the stage secretary said if all riders follow the road rules no one will be at loggerheads with them, especially the police.

''Once the change has been made we will be ready to accept it or face difficulties in our daily operations. If you are under age, that is you do not meet the requirements that NTSA requires for a motorbike rider to have, please look for an alternative early before you are caught,'' said Kirera.

He urged operators who do not possess licences to make arrangements and get them in order to be a driver with the complete requirements according to the law.

''All I want to see are riders who are ready to accept the positive change that our government and the relevant authority wants us to do. If you have been making savings and you do not have a driving license please go to the respective office, pay and get your license processed,'' he said.
