Bodaboda riders in Matungulu sub-county have been urged to report to the police if ever they carry customers they suspect to be criminals.
Speaking in his office, Tala location chief Pius Nzioka said that many bodaboda operators ferry criminals at night from one place to another without the slightest knowledge hence contributing to the many cases of insecurity.
Nzioka asked the bodaboda operators to put their security and those of others first by being conscious of the people they carry moreso at night in a bid to reduce crime in the area.
"I would like to urge the bodaboda operators not to do the job for money only but also contribute in ensuring peace and security," said Nzioka.
Nzioka also gave a warning to people selling bhang in Tala market near the Bus park saying that their days are numbered as he will be conducting a crackdown and bring down the curtains of their business.
