CORD has claimed that NYS is being used by its opponents to register voters secretly.
The coalition says the secret exercise is being conducted so that the elections are rigged next year.
Some of the coalition politicians led by Kalonzo Musyoka have said they have received complaints from the party supporters saying they have tried to register but are have been told they will not be registered since their names are already in the system.
Kalonzo revealed that six supporters who have complained of having been registered secretly have already sworn affidavits by Oluoch and Company Advocates claiming they were turned away from registering. Such cases have not been reported in Kibera as voter registration in the area is moving on smoothly although with a low turnout.
The IEBC has, on the other hand, rubbished CORD’s claims saying if the coalition has evidence to its claims, it should not hesitate taking it to the commission.
