The Nakuru government has unveiled three new graders that will be used to rehabilitate and maintain roads in the county.
Speaking when he commissioned the three graders in Molo stadium Thursday, Governor Kinuthia Mbugua said the machines would help improve the state of roads in the county in line with his pre-election pledges which had the roads sector as one of the prime priorities.
Mbugua added that good roads were a recipe for development, reiterating that as an agricultural hub, the county requires good roads to aid in transportation of farm produce.
The event was one of the several projects in the governor's bag of goodies for Molo as the third phase of the Gavan Mtaani initiative pitched camp in the area.
Other areas that have hosted the outreach program include Kuresoi South and North respectively.
Deputy Governor Joseph Ruto, county secretary Joseph Motari, among other local leaders accompanied the governor.
