Uasin Gishu County government will on Friday launch Revenue Management System to automate revenue collection.
Speaking in his office on Wednesday, deputy governor Daniel Chemno said the system is meant to reduce corruption and enhance transparency in revenue collection.
"We will be launching the programme tomorrow at Jua Kali Town. Uasin Gishu residents will be able to pay their rates using their phones," he revealed.
He said the system will offer services such as generating single business permits, paying land rates, stall rates, house rents, daily parking fees and boda boda fees.
"I urge Uasin Gishu residents to turn up in large numbers to witness the launch that is meant to improve service delivery," he said.
