Inspector General of Police has warned that there are people out to revive criminal gangs ahead of the next poll.
Speaking on Friday, Boinett said that security detail is alert and all criminal networks will be dealt with.
“Organisers and heads of criminal groupings are known and police are after them. We would like to appeal to members of the public to also collaborate with the police by giving information about these groups in order to secure our country,” Mr Boinnet said.
This comes at the backdrop of details that Mungiki in Nakuru are regrouping and causing havoc to the business community.
Last week Nakuru County Regional coordinator said that police have already unearthed a criminal network in Nakuru linked to Mungiki and will be dealt with.
