A Nakuru-based media girl is now the talk of the town after she was reportedly left stranded in a Nakuru hotel by a politician.
Close friends of the sassy girl haven given tight details of how the two met during a press conference and the girl started dropping sexual hints to the Member of County Assembly (MCA).
The girl freelances for an FM station in the town and is assigned to Rongai sub county.
Within a short period, things between the two heat up with the MCA taking over as the girl's silver 'sponsor'.
'Sponsor' is slang for a man who pays for a girl's bills in a casual relationship in exchange of sexual favours.
Gifted with a soft husky voice, topped with shimmering eyes, the reporter has been driving the local politician crazy living a good life before things went amiss.
Her embarrassing moment came when the MCA received reports that the girl was in a blossoming affair with a male reporter who operates in the town as well.
According to another reporter close to the girl who sought anonymity, after getting tipped off on what happens behind his back, the moneyed MCA decided to 'teach the girl a lesson'.
He called her and they were to meet at a high-class hotel in Nakuru town.
The hotel is close to Nyayo Gardens and is popular with diplomats and high-class tourists visiting the town.
It also hosts a high profile Kenyan church leader who is popular with large crowd crusades when having crusades in Nakuru.
As usual, the girl checked in at the high-end joint.
Knowing that her 'sponsor' was on the way, she started sampling some of the best dishes and shots of expensive whiskeys.
Time passed, she started to feel uneasy and then panicked. She reached for her phone and called the politician, her calls went unanswered.
Oops, her world collapsed!
She didn't have a way to foot the 'fat' bill.
She started making frantic calls to her friends begging them to 'M-Pesa' her.
Luckily, her friends came to her rescue and paid her bill- the hotel staff set her free.
But those in the know say the young lass’ grudge with the MCA is not yet over, she has vowed to cover him negatively until he loses the next election!
