National Assembly Leader of Majority Aden Duale has responded to TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo, a day after the latter said that those implicated in the NYS scam must clear their names first.
“Some things are just basic. Between Onyango Oloo and myself it is obvious who has significance in Jubilee.”- The Garissa Township MP posted on Twitter on Friday.
On Thursday, Oloo cautioned individuals adversely mentioned in the NYS scandal against dragging the name of the Jubilee coalition.
Early this week, former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru in her affidavit mentioned Duale and Elgeyo/Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen as those who influenced payments at the NYS scandal.
Duale in his defense said Waiguru was upto causing divisions in the ruling coalition with her claims, hence Oloo's call.
Josephine Kabura, a business woman who is a key suspect in the scandal said Waiguru played a key role in the loss of Sh791 million that has seen key figures in the Jubilee coalition implicated.
