Elburgon residents have hailed the area MP Jacob Macharia for what they have termed as an impeccable development record. Speaking in Elburgon town, the residents led by activist Mbugua Githenji, said that the current MP has achieved more than the other MPs who have served the area.
“The development in this area has been taken a notch higher, especially in education, we are witnessing much,” Mbugua.
The MP has initiated several development projects including facilitating the establishment of a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Molo and a Technical training institute in Elburgon.
But some disagree terming the MPs record as cosmetic.
“This MAcharia is just trying to woo votes as we approach 2017. Why rush to initiate so many projects when others have not even taken off? We know the trick,” Justus Maina said.
