Entrepreneurs in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county have taken advantage of this back school season to earn a living. The entrepreneurs participate in labeling/naming of school uniforms and other student property outside school depot in Eldoret town.
The businesses attracts many students and parents who purchase school requirements for their kids from the school depot.
"As an entrepreneur, we must take advantage of any opportunity which comes our way and what is on high demand is what we go for," said Kiprotich, one of the entrepreneurs.
According to them, labeling per item costs Kshs. 25 and therefore affordable for parents. This activity earns the entrepreneurs a lot of income since their customers range from pre-school pupils, primary school pupils to ex- candidates who are about to join various secondary schools, college students.
