Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria has said time is up for Kenya to pull out of the International Criminal Court.

Speaking on Monday during the unveiling of Equity Bank's Wings to Fly Foundation scholarships in Nakuru County at the county headquarters, Gikaria said efforts by the African Union to pull out of the Rome Statute ought to be supported by any patriotic Kenyan.

He said the court was being used to undermine African leaders while referring to Deputy President William Ruto and Joshua arap Sang who have pending cases at the Hague.

At the same time he lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for standing with Ruto and Sang even as they undergo trials at the ICC.
