Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has urged residents to actively participate in the budget making process for the financial year 2016-17 scheduled to start next month.
Speaking while closing the two-day outreach programme in Kuresoi North, Mbugua said it is important for the residents to involve themselves in the process, so that issues of concern can be addressed effectively.
“Within the three years of devolution we have made substantial gains in our county and we urge people to take part and own the budget making process so that we can address the remaining part that is of concern to our people,” said Mbugua.
The county boss unveiled a new ambulance for Kuresoi Health Centre that will serve the sub-county.
County Health Chief Officer Dr Samuel Mwaura said staffing and drug supply of hospitals in the sub-county among others, are underway.
