While old people would term some games as childish and outdated, college students evoke a different meaning when it comes to remembering their childhood.

Hiking is a favourite social activity loved by most university and college students. To them, this is a funny way of reminding them of the things they practised during their tender age.

The first weekends of opening, when studies have not seriously began, are commonly characterised by hiking activities carried out by various groups of students in their respective clubs, societies and classes.

Hikes involve mingling with colleagues, classmates and friends, sharing your experiences, climbing hills, playing football and child games popularly known as "chakitoto," among other activities.

Such hikes are not only fun, but also play a big role as a mind freshener and an avenue through which young people luckily find their partners for life. Moreover, students also gain the exposure by practising practically what they are taught in the lecture theatres. Perhaps this is the best way college students love to socialize with others and to recall their childhood.
