Orange Democratic Party (ODM) has suffered a major blow after Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama decamped to Jubilee party.

In an interview on Thursday with this writer, Arama accused ODM of being undemocratic and with no future.

“ODM is not the party I would want to be in because it is not serving the interest that I want. My troubles with ODM started when my name was expunged from the list of nominees by Raila Odinga on account that I am a TNA person,” Arama said.

He said that his seat as the Nakuru Town West MP is no glory to ODM as the court gave him the ticket and not the party.

“Nobody should say that ODM has gotten me to this position because it is not true. I moved to court to contest the decision and the court gave me the green light to hold this position. I do not owe it to ODM as a party,” the MP added.

He said that he has made a decision to join Jubilee party and work together with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto in serving constituents of Nakuru Town West.
