The chairman of Uasin Gishu Church Ministers Bishop Wilson Kurui has applauded IEBC for conducting Malindi and Kericho by-elections effectively.

Speaking in Eldoret Thursday, Kurui said the commission has the potential of conducting its work well if provided with all required resources.

"The commission conducted the elections without bias, I believe it has the potential to perform better in 2017 general election if politicians stop meddling in its affairs," he said.

Bishop Kurui urged politicians seeking various positions to stop encouraging corruption through voter bribery.

"We should elect leaders who can deliver to us good services, not those who will be busy trying to recover the money they used for campaigns," he said.
