The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission will Monday launch the countrywide Mass Voter Registration drive at Pumwani Social Hall, Kamukunji Constituency, Nairobi at 10.45 am.
This is according the latest post on the commission's Facebook page.
The move comes at a time when politicians from across the political divide have urged their supporters to apply for the national identity cards and voter's cards in readiness for the 2017 general election.
However, this latest development has taken over the social media with most breakfast radio shows dominating the conversation with topics revolving around registration as voters for the 2017 general elections.
Meanwhile, residents in Nakuru town have in the past weeks thronged the huduma Center in snaking queues seeking ID processing among other services.
