Machakos county governor Dr Alfred Mutua has said that he won't be present at the Wiper's party meeting that will be held on Friday in Machakos town since he has not been invited.

He says he came to learn of the meeting via media houses.

Speaking in his office in Machakos town on Thursday, Mutua said that he will send his deputy Bernard Kiala to represent him in the meeting since they are from the same party.

"I'm not invited to the meeting and since I'm a member I will send my deputy who will represent me in the meeting and notify me what transpired," said Mutua.

Mutua also said that Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka should stop lying to the Kamba community that he will vie for the presidential seat under Cord coalition.

He said that other top leaders in the coalition wouldn't allow Kalonzo to vie for the seat where he said that the cord coalition should prove him wrong by announcing Kalonzo Musyoka as the coalition's flag bearer in the presidential seat come 2017.

The governor also asked Kalonzo Musyoka to ensure the meeting is peaceful and no ruckus will be witnessed in Machakos.
