The Jubilee party led by the Deputy President William Ruto has moved in full force to campaign for their flag bearer, Philip Charo in Malindi.

Ruto told the coastal people that the Jubilee government is already solving land issues so that it’s not capitalised on during campaigns. He promised that the government will solve the land issue once and for all. He says the idea will help the land problems at the coast come to an end and silence those politicians who use the land issue as a campaign tool.

Speaking on Tuesday at Malindi, he asked residents to support the Jubilee MP candidate, Philip Charo in the coming by-elections. He told the people that the government had good plans for them as it has set aside funds to boost infrastructure, education, solve water problems and provide good health care for the coastal people and all Kenyans.

He also promised to help fix the mess of identification cards as many people at the coast have no identity cards. He, however, promised that his government will boost tourism at the coast by expanding the Lamu Airport to accommodate international flights.
