Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has encouraged both local and foreign investors to invest in education, health, agriculture and other sectors, in a bid to promote development in the county.

Speaking when he officially opened the Petanns Institute of Advanced Driving and Business Studies campus in Kiambu Town on Friday, Kabogo said that investments will see the county achieve its economic goals.

The governor said that investors are welcomed to invest in areas like health, education, infrastructure, agriculture and others.

He said that the county government has set in place friendly mechanisms to encourage investments.

Kabogo lauded the move by Petanns College to open a campus in Kiambu, saying that it will see many youth enroll for studies.

“We are happy that Petanns has thought of opening a campus in Kiambu Town, and we know many students will enroll for studies,” he said.

The Kiambu governor said that education is key to development adding that the county government will support every programme aimed at making education accessible.

The Kiambu boss asked colleges to ensure that students are equipped with practical skills so that they can fit in the job market.
