The national government through the Ministry of East Africa Affairs Commerce and Tourism is developing a policy to woo investors in Kenya and the counties as well.
Speaking during the North Rift Economic Bloc conference, CS Phyllis Kandie said the investment policy will streamline value chain to ensure efficient access to markets.
"The policy will enhance opening up of investment opportunities in the county and national governments for investors," she said.
Kandie said once the policy completed, it will be easier for investors to locate areas that need investment in both national and county governments.
The minister said her ministry will remove all tariff barriers to ensure ease of doing business.
