Deputy President William Ruto has been told to desist from meddling into opposition politics.
He has instead been told to take his time to reconcile with disgruntled members of URP party.
This comes a few days after the DP challenged the opposition coalition Cord to dissolve its affiliate parties and constitute a single party that will tussle the ruling Jubilee coalition under the umbrella of Jubilee Party that will be launched early 2016.
Speaking at her backyard at Bobasi on Monday, Nominated Senator Janet Ongera faulted Ruto of his endless ward of words with the opposition team.
“Our coalition is intact and I wonder why he (Ruto) is busy lecturing us in the party management yet he has cracks within URP that he should deal with. He should give us a break with his endless war of words with us. We are an organized team that should not be guided by anybody,” she said.
Ms Ong’era urged the DP to direct his energies in fighting graft that had rocked the Jubilee government.
“This government is full of corruption scandals right away from NYS and many more which are unfolding. He should direct his energy to fighting graft and leave us alone,” she added.
She said the coalition will remain intact with the three main affiliate parties ODM, Wiper Party and Ford-Kenya holding grassroots election to solidify the coalition’s support countrywide and reiterated that the coalition was significantly gaining support from all corners of the nation.
