Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has termed Deputy President William Ruto a ‘political lost sheep’ and warned him against ‘misleading’ area political leaders.

Speaking while launching of a football tourney at Nyambaria high school on Sunday, Mr Bosire insisted that the Gusii region is a Cord zone and accused the DP of dividing area leaders by dictating them to join Jubilee in favor of initiating development projects in the region.

He warned the DP of his ‘continued interference’ with the political setup of the region and told him to concentrate in putting his Rift Valley backyard in order.

‘This man (William Ruto) is always out to teach the Abagusii community on what to do in elections yet he is unable to put his Rift Valley region in order. We are tired of his divisive politics of misleading our people to support the failed regime. It’s laughable that he wants us support him so that he initiates development to our region yet we are also Kenyans who deserve equal treatment regardless of our political affiliation,” he said.

Bosire expressed his disappointment in Jubilee government and pointed at the DP accusing him of using his powers to sabotage development in the region.

“Our DP is a political lost sheep and he has to admit that. It’s sad that he uses his powers to negotiate for support in all parts of the country. He needs to know that people don’t have to always support the government to have development done in their region. We are living in a democratic nation and he should wake up to reality and desist from sabotaging development in areas perceived to be supporting opposition,” he added.

He urged Gusii community to remain in Cord and insisted that opposition will be forming government after 2017 polls.

“We should ignore his inroads being made by DP to the region as Gusii community. He cannot teach us what’s right or wrong to do. We should not allow him use few self-centered individuals to mislead our people. This is ODM region and I am sure we will be in government next year,” he said.

Mr Ruto has been making inroads to the region and recently hosted 3000 delegates in his Sugoi home before attending a fundraiser at Gusii stadium recently.
