Leaders from Kisii and Nyamira counties have urged Keroka traders to be calm as they are going to set up measures to end the current disputes at the market.
This comes after traders from two counties turned against each other over the location of the market on Thursday thus causing chaos forcing the police intervene.
According to Kitutu Masaba Member of National Assembly Timothy Bosire and Nyaribari Masaba Member of Parliament Elijah Moindi, there is no problem over the location of Keroka market hence they wondered what caused the Thursdays chaos.

He added that within two to three days, the leaders from two counties are going to have especial sitting to discuss the issues emerging at the market and come up with better solutions.
Elijah Moindi, the Nyaribari Masaba Member of Parliament further affirmed that there are no boundaries disputes at Keroka since they discussed and had already put up resolutions on how the market was to be managed.
