Speaking on Monday after receiving the motorbikes, Kirigiti area chief, John Ikinya, said the motorbikes were going to help them in maintaining security in their areas of jurisdiction. He said that at times, chiefs have problems operating in their areas but with the motorbikes, they are going to ensure security is maintained.

The chief added that these bikes are going to help them in quick responses, incase of any criminal activities in the area. He said in most cases, chiefs were called to respond to criminal activities and before they arrive, the criminals have already escaped. Ikinya explained that this highly affected their operations because they could use their money to move from place to place.
