National transport and safety authority (NTSA) chairman Lee Kinyanjui has said he will officially launch his bid for Nakuru governorship in September this year.
Kinyanjui said that his tenure at NTSA will come to an end in September and he will come back to the people of Nakuru to look for a job.
Speaking over the weekend at Nakuru Kinyanjui said that he will notify the people of Nakuru what he wants in September.
"For now am still a civil servant and am serving Kenyans and therefore I cannot engage in politics but when my term at NTSA ends in September then I will come here and inform you want I want," said Lee.
"You know I want some job here at home but I will officially ask for it in September," he added.
He called on Nakuru politicians to respect each other and avoid the politics of mudslinging for the sake of the electorate.
"As much as we are in political competition we as leaders must learn to respect each other and avoid dirty politics ahead of 2017," he said.
Lee is seen as the biggest challenger to incumbent Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua in the 2017 polls.
