Motorists plying Kisii-Keroka road have been warned against reckless driving.
Addressing the press in his office on Friday, Keroka OCPD Patterson Maelo said a number road accidents on the road were as a result of reckless driving.
Mr Maelo noted that the road is narrow and therefore demanded drivers to exercise maximum caution to avoid causing accidents.
"I ask motorists operating in the Kisii-Keroka road to be cautious because the road is narrow and many people are traveling from cities and town to upcountry for December festivities."
The police boss added: "Those found contravening the law will be charged in a court of law."
Maelo's sentiments came a day after an accident occurred at Amabuko area, along the Kisii-Keroka road, causing fatalities.
The accident involved a Probox and a Nissan matatu that hit head-on, causing the deaths of two people.
