Hawkers in Kisumu are gearing up for the fellowship crusade by Prophet David Owuor by adding stock to their merchandise.

The traders who spoke to this Hivisasa writer on Monday morning said that the annual rally which is usually held in the lakeside city is always full of people which will be good for their business. 

“I am going to invest all my money in buying fresh supplies specifically for the prayer rally because i know that no matter what, i will make a profit," said Stephen Ekeroa, a hawker in the town.

The hawkers said that despite the hard economic times being experienced in the country, they are hoping to end the year on a high note as profits are guaranteed.

“We have had a tough year business wise since but with this rally coming at the end of the year, things are finally looking good for us,” said Caren Chepkoech.

Prophet Owuor is characterised by attracting huge crowds to his prayer rallies which is expected to take place in Kisumu from 30th December to 1st January 2016 at the Kibos grounds.
