Christians have been urged to know their role towards the schools they sponsor as one way of improving education standards of schools.
According to Pastor Ronald Ogetonto of Matutu PAG, he said that schools have failed because of poor management from sponsors who needs to monitor the schools.
Pastor Ogentoto who was addressing the congregation on Sunday at Matutu PAG in Gesima wards challenged christians that they should know their mandate with regards to managing schools.
“Once we are sponsors we need to understand our mandate as sponsors so that we can make our schools to shine and do better,” said Pastor Ogentoto.
Matutu P.A.G Primary School and Secondary School being sponsored by to the church, he advised christians to make sure that all activities done there are being reviewed by them.
