Kong'asis residents in Uasin Gishu county have lauded the murraming of Strobag-Kilugha road. The road had been affected by heavy rain posing a challenge to the area residents.
"I am grateful to the county government for their development projects as we will now be able to use the road with ease in the future," said Daniel Ruto, a resident in the area.
According to Philip Kibet a boda boda operator in the area, their business are now flourishing as they can now transport passengers with ease.
"We previously used to stop our businesses during heavy rains in the area thus lowering our income," Philip noted.
The road is mostly used by students, milk traders and boda boda operators who reside in the area.
