Speaking on Thursday at the school during the county government outreach programme, Kinuthia said the situation at the school was bad and needs an upgrade.

“I have instructed the County Government of Nakuru engineers to visit the school and established how they can assist the development of the (school’s) classrooms and sanitation amenities,” Kinuthia Mbugua said.

The county government is running an outreach program whereby they take services to the people by operating in different sub-counties.

A section of residents have however dismissed the outreach program as a charm offensive ahead of 2017 elections. The governor, however, is all praises with the approach.

“We continue with today's program where we have pitched camp at Nyota Ward grounds where all the county government departments are receiving people from within the area to engage and serve them,” Kinuthia said.

Students at the school were elated to meet the governor.
