Residents of Machine, Lanet in Nakuru County are mourning the death of a local doctor who operated a clinic in the area.

George Ndirangu said the brutal murder of the doctor is a big loss to the community.

“Judy was dedicated and passionate in what she was doing, people here depended on her clinic,” Ndirangu said.

Described as passionate and with a good heart, the deceased was stabbed by her mentally ill patient whom she has been treating.

“She has diligently treated the man, he is insane,” Jane Nyambura said. The news of the incident hit the quiet outskirt like a thunder.

“We are shocked. She was a very nice doctor,” Miriam Ndung’u said.
