Limuru OCPD Mohammed Bakuli has cautioned students who have completed their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) examinations in the sub-county against engaging in unlawful acts.
Addressing journalists in his office on Tuesday, the OCPD advised the form four leavers to be law abiding citizens as they await their results.
Bakuli also asked parents to monitor their children who have completed exams, adding that school leavers might be tempted to engage in evil acts like drug abuse and prostitution.
“We are appealing and also advising parents to monitor the movements of their sons and daughters who have finished their KCSE examinations,” said Bakuli.
Bakuli said law enforcers will not hesitate to arrest students found engaging in unlawful acts.
“Every citizen whether young or old has to adhere to the law,” said Bakuli.
Bakuli further asked parents to use this time to mentor school leavers and caution them against bad company and activities.
He said that bad influence has seen many young people engage in crime and other unlawful activities in the area.
