Speaking on Thursday during the Kisii Entrepreneurship Summit (KES) at Kisii University grounds, Maangi said that there are many opportunities for young people such as stone carving and business activities, through which they can generate wealth.

"I encourage the youth of Kisii County to engage in entrepreneurship and other related activities to be self employed and create wealth," he said.

He welcomed both local and foreign investors to invest in Kisii County and take advantage of the serene environment that the county government has put in place to support trade and investment.

"The theme of the event, “Tapping the Trade and Investment Opportunities in Kisii County" confirms the huge untapped natural resources in the county," he said.
