Machakos county leaders continue to condemn Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua over his Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement Party launched a week ago.
Machakos leaders are accusing Mutua of being used by the Jubilee government to divide the Kamba nation.
On Sunday, a section of Machakos County leaders led by Senator, Johnstone Muthama, held a meeting and said that Mutua is being used by Jubilee government to split the Kamba voting block through his movement.
With the support of some people in that area, they agreed to dismiss the governor's new party, saying it will come down crumbling very soon, therefore leaving him politically wounded.
They also vowed to start the new year by forging what they termed as unity of purpose to champion and safeguard community interests.
During the meeting, Muthama was accompanied by MPs, Patrick Makau (Athi River ), Maweu Katatha (Kangundo),Stephen mule (Matungulu), Robert Mbui (Kathiani), Susan Musyoka(woman representative), Benard Kiala ( deputy governor),Wavinya Ndeti, (former Kathiani MP) and a host of MCAs.
They reminded the community that wiper leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, is the undisputed leader of the Kamba nation.
