Maella MCA Mujina Kariuki has been released by a Naivasha court together with other suspects on Sh 1M bond.

Mujina was arrested together with other suspects over alleged incitement of a section of members of the Ng’ati land buying society.

The members allegedly attacked farms belonging to directors of Ng’ati Company and destroyed property.

On Wednesday, Naivasha Resident Magistrate Peter Geseora ordered the suspects to be reporting to the Criminal Investigation Department every week.

Geseora also warned the suspects against any incitement. Earlier, the prosecution had opposed the suspects being given a bond.

The case will be heard on May 25.
