Mavoko Mp Patrick Makau King'ola has launched road safety training and safety campaigns in the sub-county.
Speaking during the event on March 2, 2016, the Mp said that the program is aimed at improving security measures within the sub-county and it's targeting bodaboda operators who are the main culprits of reckless driving.
He cited that the program is also a way of empowering young people economically.
"I have launched campaigns to make changes as far as transport is concerned. Take the training positively and apply the lessons learnt, so as to help decrease the number of accidents within Mavoko," said King'ola.
He was accompanied by several other leaders from the sub-county during the campaign launch.
He urged all people present in the event to ensure that they do their best and make good use of attained knowledge and assured them of more training on the same.
