Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua has attributed ethnic tension in parts of Njoro sub-county to political incitement.
Speaking over the weekend in the area, Mbugua warned grassroots politicians to desist from inciting their kinsmen adding that it was hurting peace efforts.
He added that his government would not hesitate in taking action against such politicians to allow peaceful coexistence communities living in the area.
His sentiments came days after a man succumbed to arrow wounds when cattle rustlers believed to be from the neighbouring community attacked him in Ndeffo area of Njoro.
