Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has said service to his people is what drives him.
Mbugua said he has dedicated all his time as the governor on delivering service to Nakuru residents, saying he is even ready to move from home to home in delivering service.
The governor said he gets satisfaction from serving people and not engaging in empty politics.
“My biggest job is to serve the people of Nakuru and that is what drives me every day. I have not time to waste engaging in empty rhetoric because that will not help my people,” he said.
Mbugua called on his opponents to wait for the right time in 2017, noting that time for politics will come.
“Politics will be there next year and those who want to do politics will have all the time but for now can you allow Mbugua to serve his people as he is doing,” he said.
The county boss spoke Sunday at a church service in Rongai constituency.
