Kathiani MP Robert Mbui, who is also the Wiper Democratic Movement Organising secretary, has said the Wiper movement will not issue party tickets to any person who has had corruption allegations levied against them.
Speaking during a burial ceremony in Kathiani Sub-County, Mbui said the Wiper movement will only allow 'clean' candidates to vie for public office positions during the coming 2017 general elections.
"Anyone who has been faced with corruption cases at any point of their career will not be allowed by the Wiper movement to ask for Kenyans' votes," he said.
Mbui said that Kenya has been faced with a lot of corruption cases, adding that it was high time Kenyans ensured that corrupt leaders are kicked out of public offices.
The MP said the Wiper Democratic Movement will carefully scrutinise individuals before issuing them tickets to vie for leadership positions in the coming general elections.
