Bogichora ward representative Beauttah Omanga has called on the local government to consider initiating projects that will create more jobs for the youths in the region.

Omanga said that the county had concentrated on launching projects but abandoned them thereafter instead of seeing them into completion yet majority of the youth in the area continue to idle around due to lack of jobs.

“Our county government has launched many projects which have not yet commenced or been completed for reasons we do not know because funds have already been allocated,” he said.

“Projects such as the Manga stadium is currently not progressing, and another great one that includes cattle dip renovation across the county has not yet been completed yet the money for its full construction was set aside,” said the MCA.

He has blamed governor John Nyagarama’s government for engaging in activities which he termed as irrelevant.

The MCA was speaking in Ramba area in Bogichora ward where he was attending a burial ceremony.
