There is a common saying that goes men will alway be men and women will always be women.
Listening to a conversation between men last weekend in one of the common joints made me realise that men doubt women just as much as women doubt men.
Despite the fact that no one is perfect under the sun nonetheless, not anyone is trustworthy. These men were talking but as I eve dropped, I could not help but notice how doubtful they were about women.
Though in a funny manner, they talked of how no woman could survive or rather live comfortably with only one man in their lives. According to them, a woman depends on men for comfort, security and finances, something I do not rubbish but rather agree with but in a different perspective.
Let's call the first man John. He was explaining to his friend how all women cannot be faithful not by choice but by nature. According to John,women have several men who play different roles to make her life complete.
Top on the list was this guy who was nicknamed ATM. He was given this name because he will be the first person the girl will think of when she needs cash to blow. The mans' sole purpose is to provide cash to spend.
Another man is the guy whose dates will always be postponed. This guy will always make arrangements to meet or go out with the girl who in a way or another will always have excuses not to meet the guy at all costs.
The other man who has his place is this one who will be called to buy credit or sambaza. He works to provide the girl with airtime so that she can call different men who she is seeing.
There is also this man titled Panadol. This is quite self-explanatory actually, he acts as a pain killer. He is simply there to always comfort the girl when she needs it.
Of course there is then this guy who is the number one in a girl's life. The lover she would openly or publicly announce and introduce to her friends as the boyfriend if not the lover boy. This is the man whom the girl will not easily ignore. She will religiously go to his house whenever he wants her and call her whenever he feels lonely.He is always medicine to his girl though he might not definitely be aware of that.
Then there is the baby daddy. This is the guy who is the biological father of the lady's child. Either by bad or good luck he happened to father her child. Unfortunately, something nasty happened on the way that drastically changed the love story and gave it a totally different dimension.
Though life may not be the way we want it to be,then this is just what men in a way perceive every woman's life to be.I might beg to differ but for now let ladies know that these men will be with us today but tomorrow they are talking that about us,never mind .......That's life!
