Three minors were on Monday arraigned before a Nakuru court and charged with theft.
The three, aged between 15 and 17 are accused of breaking into a shop and stealing valuables.
The court was told that on the night of October 29 in Nakuru North the trio broke into the shop belonging to Fredrick Githui and made away with Sh20,000 in cash, a subwoofer, cigarettes, and flour.
The minors faced an alternative count of handling stolen property after they were found in possession of some of the items which they are accused to have stolen on November 6.
However, the three who confessed to having dropped out of school pleaded not guilty to the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Liz Gicheha.
They were remanded awaiting the hearing on November 10.
