The search for a 19 year old girl who allegedly went missing last Wednesday in Pyrethrum estate Nakuru ended in tears after her body was discovered in a farm by police officers on patrol over the weekend. The deceased is alleged to have left her home on the fateful day to go plait her hair in a nearby salon but never returned.
While confirming the incident, the area deputy police boss Janet Wasike said that the deceased had severe head injuries an indication that she could have been murdered elsewhere before being dumped in the farm which is adjacent to the Nakuru GK prison.
She added that investigations had so far been launched into the matter to bring to book all those who could have perpetrated the beastly act on the teenager. The body was taken to the Nakuru county hospital mortuary.
