Retired President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi has stressed the need for a strong educational foundation, according to Standard digital news.

Speaking in Nakuru during Moi Primary School Kabarak’s fifth prize and thanksgiving ceremony on Saturday March 5, Moi stressed for more efforts into streamlining the education sector to benefit children in the country.

“When I was establishing this primary school, many people asked themselves why was I building such a magnificent institution for primary pupils. My heart loves children and they are part and parcel of this country,” he said.

However, he expressed concerns about education noting that parents and teachers have a big role to play and should not take the lives of young children casually. 

Moi primary school Kabarak is a Chrisitian institution founded in 1991 by the Retired President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi in 1991.
