Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has dismissed the recent opinion polls by Ipsos Synovate, terming them as ‘fictitious and hyperbolic’.
On Wednesday, Ipsos released polls that indicated that majority of Kenyans were of the opinion that opposition leader Raila Odinga, officially retires from politics.
Speaking in Manga on Thursday, Bosire backed the ODM leader saying he was confident that the party will carry the day in 2017 under the stewardship of Odinga.
He termed the opinion poll as a fabrication of the real mood on the ground adding that it was unlikely to change the mind of Kenyans.
“Raila has support from at least every corner of the nation. He is quite respected and I am optimistic that he will win in 2017. That is why I really do not care about the fictitious and hyperbolic opinion polls,” said Bosire.
Bosire who also the ODM national treasurer said the opposition was best suited to take over the country’s leadership given the inability of Jubilee government to deal with matters relating to corruption and bad governance.
“This government is crippling and the opposition through Odinga has done a lot to ensure its put on toes. The government is so corrupt such that if it gets elected for another term, our economy will diminish substantially. Odinga is still fit to lead the nation and I call upon your support to ensure he wins,” he added.
